Every dream begins with a seed, but for Sherley, the founder of Emmy’s Dream Builders, the dream was born from a profound moment of change. In 2015, Sherley’s life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), an experience that cost her the ability to walk and write at the time. Transitioning from her career as a professional makeup artist, Sherley realized that her destiny was not just to create beauty, but to build a lasting legacy.

Emmy’s Dream Builders was founded not merely as an after-school program, but as a promise to Sherley’s five-year-old daughter and the families of our community. It is a brand rooted in the belief that as long as you have a pulse, you have a place—and if that place doesn’t exist yet, we will make it for you. We believe in the power of being "uncomfortable" to inspire growth and in the necessity of providing quality care for all children, including those requiring disability and housing services. Today, we stand as a testament to what can be built when we choose to shift our perspective and transform challenges into a refined, high-tier experience for every family we serve.
